Learn what can result when caregivers exploit or compete with a child’s natural sexuality. Most children have an innocent early sexual curiosity and need for physical contact and pleasure.

Exploitation of these needs range from unwanted and intrusive sexual abuse to a seductive and sexually motivated environment, where one parent is warm and sexually collusive with the child and the other parent is cold, neglectful, and in competition for affection and attention, but there is no physical contact or requirement for secrecy.
